BEHIND THE HAPPY EASEL

I was born and raised in Western NY and since 2006, I’ve had the joy of teaching art to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in New York,

New Hampshire, and Maine. In 2024, life brought me full circle back to Western NY—this time with my husband (a pretty great guy I met in NH) and our daughter by my side. Teaching has always been my happy place, and staying home to homeschool my daughter reminded me just how much I love creating art with others.

Fast forward one year to 2025, and that’s how The Happy Easel was born—
A way to keep teaching, painting, laughing, and creating community through art.

When you join a paint party, or when you paint in your home using one of our paint kits, it’s not about being “perfect” on the canvas . . .

It’s about enjoying the moment, surprising yourself, and walking away with something you’re proud of (and probably some new friends, too).

So . . . grab a brush, relax, and let’s make something wonderful together. Life is too short. Enjoy some YOU time. Let's Paint!
